Riding in Tandem Arrested After Concerned Citizens Chase Them Down
Video footage of concerned citizens chasing riding in tandem who later got arrested after they snatched a cellphone from the young lad.
ABS-CBN News NXT uploaded a video where two snatchers were taken down by concerned citizens as the victim chase them after they snatch its cellphone while walking beside the street.
Based on footage taken by CCTVs in the area, a victim called “Brad” was seen using his cellphone while walking down Dagonoy Street. While he was busy with a cellphone, two men were also seen in video footage of a motorcycle.
Suddenly, two men grabbed Brad’s cellphone and hurried to the motorcycle to flee. Brad did not panic and immediately chased the riding-in-tandem until he came across them on Taft Avenue when a suspected motorcycle collided with a car.
The driver of the motorcycle suddenly stopped running while the other was hitting with the victim. Some concerned citizens, including the security guards of a local university, helped to arrest the two thieves.
The two suspects were identified as Walter Nablo and Kirk Rommel Castro. The two were found to be without a driver’s license and the motorcycle was not registered. They will be charged with robbery.
