Then, he became one of the pioneer hosts of the defunct GMA show Star Talk before he transferred to ABS-CBN and hosted The Buzz. In line with this, entertainment columnist Ronnie Carrasco shared in his article in Bandera that Tito Boy has this statement in the past: “Alam mo, Ron, I have a feeling I’ll end up in GMA.” The host also said to them that “don’t burn bridges.”

Carrasco recalled that this happened 10 years ago when the King of Talk invited them for a possible writing job with an online site affiliated with the Kapamilya network. After the briefing, the columnist said that Tito Boy gave that hint that he will return to his former network. At that time, the prominent talk show host was already in ABS-CBN.

According to Carrasco, there is a possibility that one of the topics, intentional or unintentional, during that dinner would be the open doors of GMA for Tito Boy. The columnist added that even though the host had not yet expressed his contingency plan, he is quite sure that Tito Boy will teach do teaching jobs.
