MAN LEAVES QUARANTINE – South Korea had become the new hotspot for COVID-19 with Daegu being at the center of the outbreak.

The city of Daegu had a huge spike in confirmed cases, the majority of which linked to a church group. Due to the unexpected rise, South Korea had been placed under the RED ALERT.

Meanwhile, in Daegu, a man left his quarantine after being diagnosed with the virus to buy face masks. Additionally, according to the South Korean news site, Yonhap, he was interviewed by media while standing in line.

As he was being interviewed, he said:

I got a call this morning that I’m confirmed… They told me to sit tight in my home but I should get a mask, shouldn’t I

Following the unexpected remarks from the man, the broadcast team quickly called authorities and had the man arrested.

The police forcibly transported the man (around his 50s), to the National Training Center of Senseo-dong. This is a designated Coronavirus treatment center in the city.

As per the report, the police would investigate the violation of self-containment guidelines after treatment. Meanwhile, the broadcaster who interviewed the man had been under self-isolation until tests got back.

In Summary, a man gets diagnosed with Coronavirus. He decided that he needed facemasks and stood in line to buy some.

Following this, he got interviewed by a broadcast crew. Afterward, he told the crew he had the virus and the crew reported the man to the authorities.
