Two Bodies Found In Different Areas In La Trinidad, Benguet
LA TRINIDAD – Two bodies were found in separate areas in the town of La Trinidad, Benguet on Thursday (February 28).
According to SunStar, local Municipal Police Station chief Police Major Cleff Vencio said that the two male bodies were duscovered at 7 AM at Barangay Puguis and Lamut Junction, Beckel in the town.
In Brgy. Puguis, the body was found by a carpenter in a ravine at Mount Costa. It was identified as Johnny Rabang, aged 55. He was a taxi driver, married and resident of San Carlos Heights in Baguio City.
He was identified by the operator of the taxi that was in Longlong-Puguis road and was eventually turned over to the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO).
As per the report, the other body was discovered by barangay peace keeping action teams who were scouting the area along Lamut Junction. The body had no clothes on and has yet to be identified.
On the other hand, Vencio said that the cops are investigating further to determine the cause of death of the found bodies and the suspects involved.
