Two Fatalities In Road Accident In Binalbagan Town

BINALBAGAN TOWN – A road accident involving a motorcycle and dump truck in Binalbagan town, Negros Occidental has left with two fatalities.

According to SunStar, the incident occurred along the national highway in Barangay Paglaum in the said municipality.

The fatalities were identified as Eddie Formanero, aged 38, and Pasio Jimenez, aged 36. Both victims are residents of Sitio Cabanbanan, Libacao, Himamaylan City.

Initial probe reveals that it occured after the motorcycle overtook a double solid lane curve and collided with the incoming dump truck approaching from the south.

The incident was responded by the rescue team of the Binalbagan and Himamaylan City.

The truck driver, identified as Joy Valiente, was under the custody of the local PNP.

As per the report, meanwhile, in the town of Ilog in the same province, a man died of hit and run at National Road of Sitio Bagroy, Barangay Deliciouso.

The fatality was identified as Joaquib Geneve, aged 33, a laborer and resident of Barangay Delicioso.

Investigations show that Geneve had a tire mark on his chest, an injury on his left leg and was unconscious when he was found by residents at the roadside.

He was brought to Lorenzo D. Zayco District Hospital in Kabankalan City but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.
