Will moviegoers regret watching ‘On Vodka, Beers, and Regrets’?
On Vodka, Beers, and Regrets Movie Review – This movie promises moviegoers that they would not regret watching it.
Viewers already know the beautiful onscreen chemistry between Bela Padilla and JC Santos. They made us cry in 100 Tula Para Kay Stella and teach us forgiveness and acceptance in The Day After Valentine. Their onscreen tandem is once again featured in the movie On Vodka, Beers, and Regrets written and directed by Irene Villamor.
The said movie tackles the meeting of almost opposite poles. Bela’s character is a broken girl with all her angst while JC’s character is almost perfect, based on Pelikula Mania. With their collision, complications came along the way that would hinder their happily ever after.
The two lead characters are trying to escape a toxic life and have a better life together. This journey was toled beautifully by the writer/director, according to movie critic Nazamel Tabares. In addition, it was said that the tandem of Bela and JC will once again leave the audience teary-eyed.
If moviegoers cried, laughed, fell in love in the previous movie of Direk Irene such as Camp Sawi, Meet Me in St. Gallen and Sid & Aya Not A Love Story, they would also have the same experience in the latest movie of Bela and JC.
Aside from the given fact that they work together very well and their chemistry is undoubtedly great, their acting was simply commendable. In the question, “Will regret watching On Vodka, Beers, and Regrets?” The answer, based on the movie critic’s review, is no.
