According to Inquirer, DPWH-Cordillera Administrative Region said in their advisory that it will be open to a two-way traffic for weekends from Friday 6 PM to Monday 6 AM.

It said that the route is open for light vehicles from 6:01 PM Monday to 5:59 Friday, adding that they also implemented this traffic scheme as they expect an increase of number of local tourists due to limited access in Tagaytay highlands due to the unrest of Taal volcano.

The department also urged motorists to follow the speed limit of 30 kilometers per hour (kph) when heading to the road.

As per the report, vehicles weighing more than five tons should take Marcas Highwas or Asin-Nangalisan-San Pascual- Rizal-Anduyan Road.

The department said that in case of bad weather or localized thunderstorms, they will close the road but only upon reccomendation of DPWH-CAR, Local Government Unit of Tuba, Benguet and Municipal Police Station of Tuba, Benguet.

The traffic scheme, which was vouched by the Inter-Agency Task Group Kennon, started from January 31 at 6 PM to Feb 3 6 AM.

DPWH-CAR also posted their advisory on Facebook, which you can check right here:
