Heart Evangelista Helps Animals Affected By Taal Volcano Eruption
HEART EVANGELISTA – GMA-7 actress Heart Evangelista visited the animals affected by the Taal volcano eruption.
Filipina actress, model, vlogger, and philanthropist Heart Evangelista is the wife of Sorsogon Governor Chiz Escudero. The famous fashion icon in the Philippines has a big heart for animals.
During the Taal volcano eruption, the 34-year-old celebrity visited the dogs rescued after the eruption. The volcano erupted on January 12, 2020.
Some of the dogs were rescued from the wrath of the country’s second most active volcano. Heart Evangelista shared several photos of herself with the dogs saved by the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).
In the caption of the post, she wrote: “Heartbreaking yet heartwarming to be able to see these dogs that were rescued from Taal. Thank you @pawsphilippines, for bringing them to safety.”
Weeks after the Taal eruption, Heart Evangelists visited Batangas to check the situation of the affected animals and help them with their needs. She also urged the public to provide some aid for the poor animals.
The Kapuso actress joined PAWS on its drive to Batangas. She shared a picture of herself wearing PAWS’ uniform and N95 mask on her Instagram account on Thursday, February 6.
While the other dogs were being fed, she cradled one in her arms. It came with a caption “Don’t worry little one, we’re all doing what we can to give all of you the love and care you need during this time.”
She announced on Twitter that the animals in Batangas still need some financial support. “Still so much is needed to help the animals here in taal medical, food and other supplies follow @PAWSPhilippines to see how else you can help. No amount is too small,” she said.
