The Department of Health (DOH) on Sunday sets a press briefing regarding the 24 patients under investigation (PUIs) for the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV).

In a press briefing at the Philippine Blood Center in Quezon City, DOH talks about the results from the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) over 26 cases on suspected novel coronavirus in the Philippines.

In spite of that, netizens notice something out of the concern of the deadly virus. Netizens spotted the table cloth they use in the press briefing was a curtain.

Recently, a Facebook page named Voice of Millennials shared a photo of DOH’s press briefing table with a curtain that serves as the tablecloth. Netizens criticize the preparation of the health department for the press briefing.

The photo earned criticism referring to corruption and lack of budget. While others defend the officials said to be resourceful and lack of time preparing because they focus on the suspected cases of nCoV in the Philippines.

One of the netizens said “Ok lang yan. Ano gusto nyo? Gastusan ng ginto ang lamesa pero sa gamot kulang?” slamming other netizens criticizing the photo.

“Ano naman if ganyan ang table cloth?me masabi at maipintas lang kayo mga ugok na dilawan.” Said by another netizen who slams the critic netizens.

The photo has gone viral on social media and earned various reactions from the online community. Just like Senator Bong Go said on our previous reports, bashers and fear mongers should be the one quarantined because instead of helping fellow countrymen all they do is bashing and criticizing.
