Gerald Anderson talks about his shortcomings in relationship with Bea Alonzo
A Soldier’s Heart actor Gerald Anderson admitted his shortcomings in his relationship with ex-girlfriend Bea Alonzo.
Last year, the breakup of Gerald and Bea went controversial. Aside from the statement of the actress that she experienced ghosting, the actor also received a massive amount of bashing because he was romantically linked to Julia Barretto.
After a few months, apparently, those who were involved in that controversy have already loved on. On the other hand, Gerald shared his recollection on what happened between him and Bea.
During his recent guesting on Magandang Buhay, the actor admitted that he has done mistakes while he and Bea were still together. “Hindi naman ako nagmamalinis na… until this day, there’s nights na parang, ‘What could I have done better? Ano yung dapat kong ginawa…'” Gerald Anderson said.
He added that time goes by, he realized that there two versions in everything. “At iba yung perspective ng bawat tao sa relationship. It takes two to tango,” he said.
With this, he said that if a relationship fails, the blame should not be on one person only. “It really takes two, kasi kayong dalawa ang andoon,” he added.
Amid that controversy, Gerald said that his co-stars in A Soldier’s Heart helped him. He shared through his companions, Carlo Aquino, Nash Aguas, Elmo Magalona, Yves Flores, at Vin Abrenica, the burden was not too heavy.
“Yung bigat na iyon, kung iki-keep mo sa sarili mo, sasabog ka talaga,” he said. Based on the report from PEP, Gerald Anderson kept to his co-stars at first the situation of his relationship.
He tell them the story but did not reveal that it was about him. Fortunately, talking to his friends helped him went through that unlikable chapter of his life.
