Lucky, The Survivor Dog That Got Trapped in Ashes Rescued By PNP Goes Viral

The survivor dog named Lucky that got trapped in ashes brings inspiration to netizens after he was rescued by the PNP Maritime Group.

Amidst the ashfall of the Taal Volcano, many animals were left in unfortunate situations by their owners due to panic evacuation. As their owners evacuated to save their lives many animals were left behind to fend for themselves.

Many residents came back to their places to save their live stocks and pets as the local government give them window hours to go home to get their belongings and feed their pets left behind.

Recently, Jonathan Sumagang, a member of the PNP Maritime Group that conducted “Sagip Buhay sa Taal” shared how they were able to rescue this dog that got trapped in ashes.

This pet dog was in far deeper predicament, as it was literally stuck deep in ashes. The cops named the dog, “Lucky the Survivor Dog” to show that he is indeed a lucky survivor dog.

Lucky couldn’t move and was already closing his eyes while he was stuck in ashes. The rescuers were determined to save Lucky as they dug deep around the poor dog to make a huge hole to pull it through.

Fortunately, Lucky was as determined as them and he was finally pulled from the ash he was trapped in. As the rescuers carried Lucky, he was even greeted by cheers and applause from the other cops who were rooting for him to survive.

The rescue operation of Lucky has gone viral on social media as many animal lover netizens were inspired and feeling grateful because the poor dog who got trapped deep in ashes got rescued.

Many netizens were touched with Lucky’s rescue story and thanked the rescuers for not giving up on the poor fur baby.
