The Bataan rehab center chief has this revelation about Jiro Manio
Former child star Jiro Manio was arrested just recently for frustrated homicide and the chief of Bataan rehabilitation center revealed something about amid the controversy.
Jiro was rehabilitated in 2011 due to drug abuse. Four years after that, reports came out that he was homeless and was just staying at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
The award-winning actor once again faced a controversy. Reportedly, he stabbed a certain person identified as Zeus Doctolero. In line with this, Dr. Elizabeth Pizarro-Serrano, the chief in the Bataan rehabilitation center made some clarifications against rumors about Jiro Manio.
She said in her Facebook post that it is not true that the actor reported to the rehab but he was still under the influence of drugs. Dr. Serrano said that after a year of staying at the rehab, Jiro decided to go home to start anew and perhaps come back to showbiz.
After a few months, there were rumors that came out stating that the actor went back to his vice. However, that was not proven. According to the doctor, Jiro surprised her in September 2019 for her birthday. That time, the drug test of the actor has a negative result. The doctor added that when the actor was still in the rehab center, he was efficient in doing his job. “Marami syang nainspire na mga kabataan whenever he gives his testimony,” the doctor shared.
Dr.Serrano encouraged people not to judge Jiro. “Jiro might be confused kung ano ba ang gagawin nya… but he was trying…. Kung ano man ang nangyari, tulungan natin sya through our prayers. . Let us not judge, JIRO.. Madaming JIRO sa paligid natin na nangangailangan ng kalinga… Sana bigyan natin sila ng chance…” she said.
