Aaron Villaflor defends new Darna Jane de Leon from bashers
Actor Arron Villaflor defended his ex-girlfriend Jane de Leon, the new Darna, against bashings and criticisms.
Jane is the lucky girl who got the iconic role of the Pinay superhero. When she was revealed as the new Darna, many people wished her luck. No doubt that the number of her admirers also increased.
However, it also inevitable that some people did not like her to be the new Darna. Thus, the bashing and negative comments that she received on social media.
Amid this, there are fans and supporters who are defending her, just like her ex-boyfriend Arron Villaflor. Based on the article from PEP, the actor said that it can’t be avoided that people would really criticize but the best thing is to be happy for Jane.
“Diyan na naman dumarating yung crab mentality, e. Let’s just be happy for the person who really deserves to be in that position,” he said with a sigh. He also said that there is a right time for every people and insecurities will do no good.
“Ako, pinagpe-pray ko ang lahat. I have no insecurities in my life. Sobrang positive ako na tao. Gusto ko, lahat ng mga katrabaho ko is maging maayos,” he added.
When asked if Jane de Leon can pull it off as the new Darna, Arron Villaflor answered positively. “Yes! Doon kasi sa La Luna Sangre [2017], yun ang parang naging training ground niya,” he said.
Based on the article, Jane and Arron got together as a couple back in 2016 and their relationship lasted for a year. The actor shared their breakup was not a bad one because they talked about it.
