Two Motorists Injured In Separate Incidents In Zamboanga City

ZAMBOANGA CITY – Two motorists were injured in separate accidents in Zamboanga City, Zamboanga del Sur this week.

According to ABS-CBN News, on Friday night, a motorcycle driver, identified as Anwar Jala, had his motorcycle crashed a number of light posts in Zone 6 Barangay Cawit, which resulted to his head injured.

Witnesses of the incident said that Jala drived too fast, which lost his control until the accident happened. Jala’s wife admitted that her husband had a drink with his friends.

Based on the report, another motorist was injured after his motorcycle collided with an oncoming passenger jeep in Barangay San Jose, Cawa-cawa on early Saturday morning.

The motorist, identified as Yves Tingson, tried to avoid a nearby random security checkpoint, as stated by the police.

The police further deduced that Tingson might possibly have a traffic violation or he did not bring his license, which prompted him to avoid the said security checkpoint.

Tingson will be possibly charged or penalized for the damages he caused to the passenger jeep.
