One of the most-watched Kapuso game shows is the Wowowin that is aired every afternoon. In a segment of Wowowin ‘Patalbugan,’ a mom who won in Willie Revillame’s program cheered viewers for her hilarious mistake.
Instead of thanking Willie’s show, the woman mentioned another game show. In an episode of Wowowin, after Willie made an easy way to player Delia from Bataan win, the old woman was able to bring home a P30,000 prize.
And as the show’s tradition, the lady had the opportunity to thank the grace she had received. However, instead of thanking Wowowin, she said she is grateful to Eat Bulaga, another noontime game show that is also on the GMA Network.
Her mistake brought laughter to the audience. “Maraming-maraming salamat po sa Eat… Eat Bulaga…” said Nanay Delia who immediately realized her mistake so she corrects it and makes it Wowowin.
Willie and his co-hosts Sugar Mercado, Hipon Girl, Almira Teng, and Elaine Timbol overheard her mistake and the main host made a joke about it. He jokingly sought out Bossing Vic Sotto on his Wowowin show.
“Sandali, sandali… Andyan ba si Bossing? Tawagin n’yo nga! Si Jose, andyan ba si Jose? Si Wally?” Willie’s joke that brought laughter to the audience in the studio.
Nany Delia apologized to Willie who was immediately accepted by the host. According to Willie, there are many mistakes in these types of programs because they all aim to make viewers and the audience happy.
