Concerned Netizen Emotionally Shared Aeta Selling Bamboo Coin Back in Divisoria
A concerned netizen emotionally shared a photo of a native Aeta who was hard working and patiently selling coin bank made of bamboo in Divisoria.
A netizen was emotionally touched at an Aeta vendor she encountered in Divisoria for trying and persevering to sell coin bank made of bamboo. She shared the inspiring and heartwarming story of an Aeta vendor.
Based on the Facebook post of a concerned netizen named “Faith Ha”, she saw an old Aeta selling a bamboo coin bank outside a mall in Divisoria. He was strained to offer and sell his goods without anyone noticing him because he was struggling to speak the Tagalog language.
“No one has ever become poor by giving. He is an old Aeta selling a bamboo coin bank outside Divisoria mall, please people kapag nakita ninyo siya, bilhan ninyo po siya,wala namang masamang tumulong eh. Masakit makakita ng taong tulad niya, he hardly speaks Tagalog but he tried his best to sell the bamboo coin bank pero wala talagang pumapansin sa kanya,” said on the caption.
He even shared what had been their conversation with Aeta. She asked him for how much his coin bank. He said 120 pesos but he only 100 pesos for her because no one has bought him yet.
Moreover, the Aeta wanted to give her another one because he said she was the “Buena Mano” or the first person who would buy his product. But she did not accept his offer, instead, she gives 200 pesos and never asked for a change.
“Binigyan ko siya ng 200 (pesos) at hindi ko na tinanggap ang offer niyang bigyan pa ako ng isa at hindi ko na kinuha sukli ko,” she said. The Aeta vendo thanked her with a sweet smile on his lips.
The netizen also called out everyone for the Aeta not to be underestimated and degraded. Their work is honorable and they are working hard just to bring home money.
Her Facebook post has gone viral and caught the attention of netizens. A lot of netizens also expressed their reactions towards the inspiring story of hard-working Aeta.
