Cyber Security Firm Warns Public Against Fishy Holiday Greetings

CYBER SECURITY FIRM – A non-profit cyber security firm warns the public against fishy holiday greetings on social media.

According to ABS-CBN, Cyber Security Philippines – Computer Emergency Response Team recently posted a warning on Facebook.

The post is a threat advisory against fraudulent holiday greetings through messengers with malicious intent.

Once the victims open the message, it will take them to a website asking for their data, then sends the similar message to the victim’s contacts.

  • https://mera-style.com

The firm advised the public to change the passwords in their banking and social media accounts as soon as possible and it must be done on a different system.
