Concerned Netizen Calls Out Tourists to be Responsible for Their Waste When Going in Events

A concerned netizen calls out and reminds tourists or visitors to be responsible for handling their waste when going to an event.

One of the ways to celebrate Christmas, and even to celebrate New Year’s day, is to visit popular places where tourists come. In this way, you can save up money and relax rather than cooking different dishes and preparing in your home.

But with the influx of tourists, the clutter around the area is sure to increase. That’s what a concerned netizen named Roland Apilado witnessed after he shared so much waste in popular sights in Baguio such as Burnham Park.

Through his Facebook post on Christmas eve, December 24, 2019, he gave a brief reminder to the visitors or tourists. He reminds everyone to be responsible for their garbage when visiting other places.

According to his caption, “Dear visitors, (yes, visitors), Pwede tayong maging bisita pero HINDI pwedeng maging dugy0t. Baguio welcomes you with cold fresh air, please do respect in return.”

He calls out and remind tourist, “CREATE your memories here but never ruin the place with your trash. Let Baguio feels that Christmas is as MERRY as yours.”

Concerned

He also has further suggestions. “Ibalik ang GMRC (sa mga paaralan). ADULTS must be required to take. Balik lahat sa grade 1.”

His Facebook post became viral and caught the attention of other concerned netizens who have seen his post. This prompted various reactions from other concerned netizens.
