Vic Sotto said this about his movie rivalry with Vice Ganda
Kapuso comedian-host Vic Sotto talked about his movie rivalry with Kapamilya comedian-host Vice Ganda.
Vic and Vice do not just have movie rivalry for several times now in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). They had been rivals on TV because of their noontime shows. Vic has been hosting on Eat Bulaga for 40 years now while It’s Showtime in which Vice is a host has been airing for 10 years.
When it comes to movie rivalry, the comedians have their separate entries in the MMFF for several years now. In line with this, Vic was asked if there will a possibility that he and Vice will work together in one movie.
This question came from the fact that the Kapuso star already worked with Kapamilya actor Coco Martin, along with Maine Mendoza for the movie Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles. Based on the article from Pilipino Star Ngayon, Vic said, “Bakit hindi? Wala namang imposible. Ako naman I would like to believe na kaibigan ko lahat. Wala akong kaaway eh. Ayokong may kaaway eh. siguro kasabay sa pelikula pero it’s not necessary na kaaway ko na ‘yon.”
However, the veteran comedian cannot say when this will happen. “I don’t know. We will cross the bridge when we get there. Open ako sa lahat, basta sa ikagaganda ng takbo ng pelikulang Pilipino, eh open ako,” he added, based on the article.
Meanwhile, Vic Sotto has an MMFF entry this year titled Mission Unstapabol: The Don Identity. The comedy-action movie also features Maine Mendoza, Pokwang, Jay Cuenca, Jelson Bay, Tonton Gutierrez, Max Collins, Lani Mercado, Clint Bondad, Pekto, Dino Pastrano, and Sarah Lahbati, Jose Manalo, and Wally Bayola.
