LRT-1 Operations Delayed Due To Technical Issues
LRT-1 – The Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1) services faced delays on Thursday morning (December 12) due to technical glitches.
Line 1 had to implement a speed limit of 15 kilometer per hour (kph) about 9 AM from Baclaran to Roosevelt due to glitches that hounded the southbound part of the EDSA station.
According to Inquirer, Line 1 said in their official Twitter post that a technician is already on board torking on the issue of the affected LRV. They further urged the public to allow additional travel time of about 8 minutes.
As per the report, a netizen asked if which train was affected, where Lione 1 answered that it was in EDSA Station-SB (Southbound). At 9:11 AM, they declared that operations have resumed.
Yesterday, Line 1 suspended trips in the R. Papa Station due to an issue in the train’s disc pad, rendering it non-operational.
Like today, they also placed a 15 kilometers per hour (kph) restriction from Bulacan up to Roosevelt stations. Operations resumed at about 8:57 in the morning.
