Travels In LRT-1 Suspended Due To Train Malfunction
LRT-1 – Trips in the Manila Light Rail Transit System Line 1 (LRT-1) has been suspended to due the malfunction of one train.
The said malfunctioning train from Line 1 on Wednesday morning (December 11) is from a part of the R. Papa Station.
According to ABS-CBN News, Jacqueline Gorospe, corporate communications head of Light Rail Manila Corp, said there is an issue in the train’s disc pad, rendering it non-operational for the moment.
Hence, they placed a 15 kilometers per hour (kph) restriction from Bulacan up to Roosevelt stations. Operations resumed at about 8:57 in the morning.
As per the report, Gorospe ensured that they also deployed skip trains in order to serve the affected passengers of the said delayed trip.
On the other hand, last month, passengers of Line 1 were serenaded by singer and businessman Jose Mari Chan with his all time hit holiday song.
Passengers were happy as they enjoy the first-hand live performance of the singer-businessman, yes, including the officials as well.
The hit also became memeworthy due to the fact that it was played whenever holiday season is fast approaching, specifically during -ber months.
