Loss 3,000 Pesos was Returned to the Owner After 3 Years Later
Loss 3,000 pesos worth of money at the restaurant was returned to the owner after almost three years.
A netizen shared how she could hardly believe that the money she had lost at a restaurant in Davao city was returned to her for almost three years. Being in this kind of situation can be a test of honesty and integrity.
In a Facebook post, Cesnee Vizconde Tan shared her astonishment that the money she lost three thousand pesos at a restaurant almost three years ago was the very money she had been received back.
He said that the restaurant owner was waiting for her to come back because they found the money he had lost.
“All this time the owner waited for me kay nakita daw nila ang 3k nga nawala nako sa una (All this time the owner waited for me because they have seen the P3,000 that I lost before),” she said in her post.
In an interview with her, Tan, a graduate of Ateneo de Davao University, shared that she has been a longtime customer of the popular eatery – the Pastil Bar-BQ in Ponce, better known as the Pastilan in Ponce, located in Jacinto St., in Davao City – even during his undergraduate and law school years.
The incident happened between January and February of 2017. After eating and leaving Ponce, he realized that he had lost three thousand pesos.
She said she went back to the restaurant to look for her money. He even asked the dining staff but they could not find it.
On the 7th of December 2019, Tan wend back again to her favorite restaurant and was suddenly approached by the owner, Rosalina Garcia recognized her as their regular customer and approached her.
“Niadto siya sa akong atbang unya nitutok siya sa akoa unya niana siya, ‘Tagal mo nang di nakabalik dito Mam noh? Diba ikaw yung nawalan ng P3,000?’ (She went in front of me and stared for a while until she said ‘You have not visited for so long. You were the one who loss P3,000, right?’),” Tan recounted.
Because of this, her day was fulfilled with happiness because she found not only just her money but the honest and upright people.
