AVRIL LAVIGNE – Iconic performer Avril Lavigne is set to visit the Philippines next year for her ‘Head Above Water World Tour.’

Canadian-French singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne’s notable songs include “Complicated,” “Sk8er Boi,” and “I’m With You.” She is considered one of the famous Canadian and among the best artists of all time.

In 2015, the “Pop Punk Queen” was diagnosed with Lyme disease. In a previous article, Avril said she’s ready to face death because she was bedridden for 2 years. “I had accepted that I was dying and I felt in that moment like I was underwater and drowning, and I was trying to come up to gasp for air. And literally under my breath, I was like, ‘God, help me keep my head above the water,” she said.

Because of what happened, she was inspired to create the song “Head Above Water.” The song is really powerful and she hoped that it could inspire a lot of people.

No doubt, she remains one of the most remarkable musicians. She still has millions of fans from different countries around the world and among her passionate fans are from the Philippines.

Avril Lavigne is set to visit the Philippines for a concert. On Tuesday, December 10, local events promoter Wilbros Live revealed the details of her concert in the country in May.

The 35-year-old superstar will be performing at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on May 20, 2020. Her concert in Manila is part of her “Head Above Water World Tour.”  Tickets for her upcoming concert will go on sale on December 21 at TicketNet.
