According to a Prezi presentation by Danielle Lauron, the story was written by Maria Aleah G.Taboclaon. Taboclaon majored in English at University of the Philippines – Diliman. She worked for an M.A in clinical psychology.
She also works at the office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Development at U.P.
This is a supernatural story of how Tonyo, who was called a wimp, became a brave person.

Summary
This is about a boy named Tonyo the wimp, who sacrificed for his family. He fought off the creature or a shape shifting person called Aswang. He fought the aswang in order to save his family member. Tonyo won the fight.
Eventually, the aswang was identified as a woman who died from the injuries she got from battling Tonyo. Tonyo was now called Tonyo the Brave.
