Pinay Nurse in Abu Dhabi Won Almost P167 Million in a Raffle Draw
Lucky Pinay nurse in Abu Dhabi won 12 million dirhams equivalent to 167 million pesos the grand prize in raffle draw of Big Ticket Abu Dhabi.
According to the article of Virtual Pinoy, A Pinay nurse wins the grand prize at the raffle draw of “Big Ticket Abu Dhabi: The Dream 12 Million Series 210” in Abu Dhabi. The 12 million-dollar Dirham won by Annabelle Maniklan, worth nearly P167 million.
Maniklan was employed as a nurse at a government hospital in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. She has been in Abu Dhabi for over eight years.
Annabelle said, she will share some of her friends with the prize. For the past four years, they have bought tickets a few times and the last one was on November 29, 2019 as the grand prize winner in the December 3, 2019 draw of Big Ticket Abu Dhabi.
“We cannot contain our happiness. I just finished the rosary when Richard called. I thank God for answering my prayer. I am in the UAE since 2011. We used to buy tickets on and off for last four years. We are friends in two groups who share money and buy ticket. One of the friends is now in the US. She left from here in July with her last contribution and we decided to put it this month. Now all of us have won,” Annabelle said to her interview in Abu Dhabi.
She said that she didn’t yet know what to do with the money she had won. She does not have any intention to return to the Philippines and she also added that she will continue to serve as a nurse in Abu Dhabi.
