Miss World Philippines 2019 Michelle Dee gave an update on the “terrorist incident” that happened in London.

The beauty queen-actress is currently in the said area in Europe for the Miss World 2019 competition that is set to happen on December 14. The international beauty pageant has already started the pre-pageant events.

On her Instagram account, Michelle is giving updates on the activities that they are doing. She was one of the Top 40 candidates who was chosen in the Top Model segment. However, she did not make it to the Top 10.

As the competition progresses, the daughter of Miss International 1979 Melanie Marquez is now encouraging Filipinos to vote for her. “Please start voting mga kababayan! A huge part of the head to head challenge and the multimedia fast track is through the online voting. For everyone’s information, i’m part of group 17 so stay tuned for more updates on when it will happen. Hope i’ve been making everyone proud back home!” Michelle said, according to the article from Pilipino Star Ngayon.

In order to vote, pageant fans should go to the official website of Miss World (www.missworld.com) Then sign in or create an account. Confirm your account through email. Click the highlighted “VOTE NOW” and this will redirect to the photos of the official candidates.

Aside from the pageant updates, the Filipina beauty queen also shared about the “terrorist incident” in London. The said incident happened at the famous London Bridge. According to the article, Michelle said that were okay but headed back to their hotel.

“Hello everyone, we are currently on our back to the hotel. Unfortunately, we heard that something happened on the London Bridge today. Somebody got hurt, and the National Directors and people from our respective countries have been asking if anyone of us are affected but no, we’re all fine.”
