Pokwang warns public of illegal recruiters using her name
Kapamilya comedienne and celebrity mother Pokwang cried foul over an illegal recruiter who is using her name.
Instances that people who are making advantage of others are quite common in our society. Even celebrities have become victims of modus operandi of individuals and groups who wanted to get money by deceiving other people. Some are even usimg the names of popular companies or personalities to their scheme.
Just recently, Pokwang shared that her name was used by a person to recruit those who desire to go to Toronto, Canada. Apparently, the actress is set to go the said place with her entourage. “Malinaw na illegal recruitment yan!! meron akong video ng taong ito at napaka linaw sa video na binanggit nya ang name ko na kunwari palalabasin nyo na kasama sa entourage ko ang na recruit nyo na kawawa naman magbabayad sa inyo???” she said.
She also called out to the netizens to be aware of this and the illegal recruiter might be recruiting someone they know. “Wag nyong gamitin name ko utang na loob! malinis akong naghahanap buhay para sa pamilya ko wag nyo akong idamay!!!” the comedienne stressed out.
Pokwang also called out to the illegal recruiters to stop this scam because she has a clear video showing their faces. “Tigilan nyo yan meron akong video nyo na isang kaibigan ang nag forward sakin at concern!! at muntik nyo na sya mabiktima na hayop ka ang tanda mona manggagancho ka na hayop ka!!” she said.
