How true is it that James Reid is having second thoughts about his series with Nancy McDonie?
Singer-actor James Reid is allegedly having second thought about his series Soulmate with Momoland’s Nancy MacDonie.
Last month the news came out about this project of ABS-CBN featuring the singer-actor and the member of the K-Pop group. This brought excitement to the fans of the two stars. However, based on a previous report, James expressed his dislike in the possiblity of creating a loveteam from their onscreen tandem.
After a month since that news about this much-awaited team up surfaced, it was rumored that James is having second thoughts about this project with Nancy. According to PEP’s source, the co-stars of the Kapamilya actor in Soulmate are already having “tampo” to him because of this.
At the time of writing, the reel and real-life partner of Nadine Lustre has not yet revealed his side about this issue. The Dreamscape Entertainment, the producer of the project, has not yet released an official statement also concerning this matter. In addition, it was alleged that the people in the production also has a “tampo” to Nadine for they believe she is behind why James has his apprehensions now, based on the article.
It can be recalled that a few days after the announcement of the project, Nadine’s father Ulysses Luste shared a cryptic post stating, “I’m Flop and you’re High Gross, what are you afraid of. You feel so threatened, you’re desperate to break US apart. I hope someday you get what you deserve. What comes around, goes around.”
Later on, it was revealed that the post was intended to ABS-CBN because he was defending his daughter who expressed disapproval to James’ onscreen tandem with Nancy. The actress apologized for what her father posted saying, “Kung sino man iyong na-offend niya or nasaktan niya by what he said, ako, humihingi na po ako ng paumanhin. But I talked to him about it, and I told him that it wasn’t right.”
