Balut Vendor Who Sings While Selling Becomes Popular to his Customers
This balut vendor becomes popular in the town of Liliw, Laguna because of its method of marketing it.
46–years-old balut vendor named Mario Valencia become popular in their town because of his method of selling his balut. Because while she was selling it he was able to sing using the loudspeaker on her tricycle.
The video footage was shared by Facebook user Pamatmat Kevin. According to the post, Valencia lives in Brgy. Ilayag Palina Liliw, Laguna. He was a 9-year bus driver until he was diagnosed with diabetes.
But years later, tatay Mario had a motorcycle accident with his son. His illness worsened and his leg was almost cut off, thank god their prayers was seemed to be answered, he added.
Tatay Mario decided to start a business that is selling Balut and Penoy, and to make it more catchy with some customers he does singing while selling. This was the reason why he was called The Singing Balot Vendor” of Liliw laguna.

He was featured on GMA Unang balita on Wednesday, customers were delighted by the rendition of Mario Valencia on the popular song “Buwan” and at the same time he shouted “balut!”
