Manny and Jinkee Pacquiao received bashing from netizens and this is their reaction
Senator Manny Pacquiao and wife Jinkee Pacquiao received bashing due to their trip in Korea amid the series of strong earthquakes in Mindanao.
The region was faced with devastating quakes in different areas last week and it is known to many that the boxing champ is from there. At that time, the family of Pacquiao went to Korea. Jinkee even shared posts when they visited the set of her favorite Korean actor Ji Chang Wook. The Korean star also proudly shared a selfie with the Senator and world-renowed boxing champ.
Jinkee and Manny were with their children and they visited different places in South Korea. Their social media followers expressed delight to see them happily spending their vacation in the said country.
However, the couple also received criticisms from several netizens who pointed out that they should be helping the victims of earthquake in Mindanao. Some netizens said that since the couple came from the region, they should be one of the first persons to extend their help, aside from the fact that they can afford helping others.

“Kung ako rich ako na magpa padala don na tubig. From Bicol po ako. Naaawa lang sa mga nasalanta ng lindol.”
“Sana inuna yung pagtulong sa mga taga Mindanao. Taga Mindanao ka rin po di ba senador?”
“Grabe nililindol na lugar nila sila masaya lang. Galeng! Palakpakan!”
“I think showing them having a good time while their fellow Mindanaoans are in the midst of calamity is really incongruous.”
However, several netizens defended the couple against these harsh comments.
“Wag po nating pangunahan. Nung walang sakuna tumutulong siya ngayon pa kaya. Baka may inutusan na siya sa Team Pacquiao!”
“Wala pang lindol ay nasa bakasyon na sa Korea ang mga Pacquiao kaya ano ang kanilang kasalanan?”
