James Reid Reveals Reason Why He Left Viva Artist Agency
JAMES REID – Actor James Reid finally revealed the reason why he decided to cut ties with Viva Artist Agency.
Filipino-Australian actor, recording artist, and model James Reid rose to fame after winning the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother. He has done several hit films and tv series with his reel-to-real life partner Nadine Lustre.
The 26-year-old celebrity signed a contract with Viva Artist Agency in 2012. In August, he decided to leave the talent agency.
In a previous article, James Reid left the talent agency because of a “sensitive reason.” It was also rumored that his dad was the one who asked for his release.
The young actor was interviewed on Boy Abunda’s talk show “Tonight with Boy Abunda.” The veteran host asked him why he decided to cut ties with Viva.
James Reid finally revealed the reason why he doesn’t want to sign a contract with Viva again. He said he want to move on with other things and explore his career in other things.
“I just feel like it’s time for me to try something else, I want to go in a different direction,” he said.
Boy Abunda also asked if James Reid’s boss at Viva was okay with his decision. “We’re okay and he’s still happy for me, I’m glad that things ended the way they did,” he answered. The actor said he has no manager yet.
