Former actress Gretchen Barretto fired back to her niece Nicole Barretto’s “you stole my boyfriend” accusation.
The Barrettos are under the spotlight once again when tension between Gretchen and Marjorie occurred during the wake of their father, Miguel Barretto. The longstanding feud between the sisters was fueled by the said incident.
Amid the issue, their brother JJ Barretto’s daughter Nicole was involved. Allegedly, the young lady attacked her aunt Greta to defend Marj. In her statement to defend her side, Nicole accused Gretchen of stealing her boyfriend, Atong Ang. The said businessman is known to be close to the former actress to the extent that they are romantically linked to each other.
In line with Nicole’s accusation to Greta, the latter fired back. Through her recent Instagram story, the long-time partner of Tonyboy Cojuangco had a fiery reply to her niece. “Don’t try to be Bea Alonzo. She’s a true victim,” Greta said. It can be recalled that Greta took the side of Bea when her other niece Julia Barretto was linked to Gerald Anderson.
Gretchen Barretto also accused Nicole Barretto of being a con artist. “Ask your mom to find you a new wealthy man to hire you,” the former actress added. She also said that Atong Ang and Tonyboy Cojuangco will address this issue.
In addition, Greta shared a photo of Atong with her family. She pointed out that they are really close to each other. “We will protect our happy life Nicole. We love each other dearly,” she said.
