MANNY PACQUIAO – Senator Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao had returned to the city of smiles, Bacolod, and announced that his plans for “Pacman Village”, a housing project for the homeless.

Pacquiao went back to Bacolod City to watch the basketball game between Bacolod Master Sardines and Cebu City Sharks held at the University Of St. La Salle Coliseum. This is the continuation of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League.

During his visit to the city, he also gave away cash gifts of one thousand pesos to fans and supporters as he did in his last visit. He was accompanied by Mayor Evelio “Bing” Leonardia.

One of the main reasons for his visit however, was his plans to erect a housing project for the many homeless citizens of Bacolod. Based on a report from Bombo Radyo Bacolod, talks with Mayor Bing is already happening.

As per the report, Pacquiao has already asked Mayor Bing about the price of land in Bacolod. Manny Pacquiao added that he simply wanted to be a good example, especially to the wealthy.

He said he wanted the rich to follow his example and have some compassion for the poor. He added that riches could not be carried from the grave so it is better to share it with people.

The fighting-senator had also denied claims that he is seeking a higher office in 2022. According to a report from Sunstar, Pacquiao was disheartened after finding out about the problems and controversies of the Philippines.

He also lamented over his discovery of the mass graft and corruption he saw within the congress. Pacquiao made this statement on October 17 as he visited the city of smiles once again.
