Buboy was known to be the loyal pet of a college professor in Pampanga. The dog used to follow the professor around the Mabalacat College City premises.

Carmelito Marcelo, the master of Buboy, had a stroke and later on died. His dog Buboy was visiting the faculty room from time to time, laying his paws on the door as if he was knocking.
