According to KAMI, the two drivers, one who owns an SUV (in white shirt) and one owning a taxi had an altercation, which caused traffic in Bandera Street, San Francisco Del Monte, Quezon City. This went viral on social media.
The driver of the Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) said that there are vehicles entering the lane and the taxi driver did not give way. He then returned to his vehicle to the taxi to counterflow.
The taxi driver made several attempts to reverse and drive away. However the counter-flowing driver has no plan on letting him go. He further flaunted that he is a soldier and the “savior of the Philippines” and dare everyone to complain.
“Commander Karl Kaw, kung gusto n’yo akong i-complain, i-complain n’yo ako. Sundalo ako. Tagapagligtas ng Pilipinas. Subukan n’yo. Subukan n’yo akong i-complain!”
Not long after, the cops came and eased the situation. The two drivers went to the precinct to explain their side, settle the issue and decided to get over it and forgive.
As per the report, the SUV driver, identified as Karl Kaw, said however that he will file a case against the netizen who recorded the viral video. He also clarified that he has no connection to the Philippine Army but claims to be the “Tagapagtanggol” in that situation.
