Maja Salvador has this revelation about the actress who was offered to do the Killer Bride role
Kapamilya actress Maja Salvador revealed that The Killer Bride she is portraying now was offered to another actress first but she said, “kaso may anak na siya”.
Maja already did various remarkable roles in teleseryes. The latest one that she did was as Ivy Aguas and Lily Cruz in the defunct Kapamilya afternoon series Wildflower. Now, she is doing the primetime series The Killer Bride with Geoff Eigenmann, Janella Salvador, and Joshua Garcia.
At first, everyone thought that she was just doing a supporting role to Janella. Maja even said that she does not mind doing supporting roles as the project requires it. However, with the plot twist, viewers were shocked when her character is actually alive.
During a press conference for the show, Maja revealed that the role was not offered to her at first. She also shared that she did an audition for that stint which garnered disbelief from reporters. The actress reiterated that she auditioned for the role and other cast members had no idea about it.
Maja even said that she told Geoff that he has already a project waiting for him when he would come back to Manila. At this point, reporters were still wondering if the actress was just joking. Then, she was asked who was supposed to be the actress who will play the Killer Bride role. Maja Salvador said, “si ano po yan, kaso lang kasi may anak na siya, gusto niyang mag-focus sa anak niya.”
A reporter was heard asking “Ellen Adarna?” and Maja’s answer to this was “hindi” and they laughed. On the other, several netizens commented that it was Julia Montes who allegedly gave birth to her son with rumored boyfriend Coco Martin.
