MAN – A 24-year-old man allegedly tied the knot with his 81-year-old disabled cousin to get out of military service

Joining the army is a huge risk and responsibility because there are chances that they could die during an encounter with terrorist but the pride they bring to their country is also priceless.

Millions of people have joined the military because of their love for the country. However, there are also men who just couldn’t bear the risk to eventually die during a battle.

Based on a report from Ladbible, the officials in Ukraine believed that 24-year-old man in Ukraine married his 81-year-old disabled cousin to avoid the military service. The young man also gave his reasons.

Alexander Kondratyuk claimed that he and his elderly cousin who is 57 years older than him, had developed a strong bond. He denied that he was just using his cousin as an alibi.

According to the report, Consciptions in Ukraine states that all men are required to join the military but there are also exemptions. One of the exceptions is for the men who need to take care of their sick family or spouse.

The 24-year-old man was automatically exempted to join the military since his marred his disabled cousin. In fact, he has already shown their marriage certificate. After showing the proof, he was allowed to go home without signing up.

Based on the report, the 81-year-old disabled woman said her husband treated her very nice but her neighbors said they never see Kondratyuk in the area. However, army officials said they are not interested to put some effort into investigating the matter.
