Beauty Queen Rikki Mae Dela Pena Advise Peers To Always Choose Career
BEAUTY QUEEN – Young beauty queen Rikki Mae Dela Pena advised her peers to always choose career over fame.
Miss Philippines Youth International 2019 is Rikki Mae Dela Pena. She was crowned last January 7 at the SM Megamall Cinema in Ortigas.
The 20-year-old beauty queen graduated at the University of Asia and the Pacific. Her advocacies are to support the educational program and focus on mental health.
Recently, the young beauty queen said she preferred career over fame during an interview. Based on a report from Manila Bulletin, the reigning Miss Philippine Youth International Rikki Mae Dela Pena said career is better than being famous. She explained why her peers should focus on their career.
“Career must be prioritized as it sets direction in our life and as part of the youth we must choose a career that we really love because by doing something that we really love, fame and success will follow,” said Dela Pena.
The Filipina beauty queen also said the younger generation can achieve their dreams if they put their heart into it. “I realized that no one can immediately be well known without doing some effort and by doing something that is right,” she said.
According to the report, the beauty queen turned 21 last September 4. She has the same birth date as her mom. They celebrated their birthday in china.
Based on the report, Rikki Mae Dela Pena said the Filipino Fashion Designer Organizer Association threw her a birthday party after the fashion show last September 21.
“I just came back to the Philippines and didn’t actually expect any birthday celebrations anymore. I was really surprised and touched. I cannot find words adequate enough to express my appreciation for the lovely surprise birthday segment you gave me. This is something that I would never forget during my reign as Miss Philippines Youth International 2019. Thank you so much for making it happen,” she said.
