DISTRICTS OF METRO MANILA – In this topic, we will now discuss the four districts of Metro Manila or National Capital Region.
Metropolitan Manila or Metro Manila is the central region of the Philippines. It is also one of the regions in Luzon, one of the three island groups in the Philippines.
It is assigned as the National Capital Region and has a population of more than 12 million people as of 2015.
Districts
This region is not like the rest of the regions. While they have provinces, the NCR has districts. Here are the following four districts:
- Capital District (Center: Manila)
- The First District of Metro Manila, it is also known as the Pearl of the Orient and is the only city-district.
- Eastern Manila District (Center: Quezon)
