James Reid Addresses Rumors Of GMA Transfer
JAMES REID – The ABS-CBN actor James Reid had refuted the rumors that he will be transferring to GMA 7.
Recently, the actor left VIVA entertainment. This then caused a lot of rumors to float over the internet.
However, during the sideline of his launch as the latest brand ambassador for Amitron, he opened up about his departure from VIVA. He stated that he would focus on other things now.
He also clarified that he does not have any plans to be handled by another talent agency. James also added that he likes having the freedom.
Although James has no upcoming TV series’ in the works, he still plans to be in movies. He also clarified that he is not giving up showbiz.
At the moment, James’ girlfriend, Nadine Lustre, is still under the management of VIVA. But, Reid reassures their fans that their working relationships would not be affected.
He added that they’re still working together. James then said that they’re all in good terms, it’s just that he has more freedom.
During an interview with Philstar, James was asked about what Nadine thinks of his independence. The actor then replied by saying “you should ask her about that”.
James was also asked if he had any upcoming projects under Dreamscape Entertainment. He then said that as of the moment, he has none.
With this, some may assume that because James doesn’t have any new projects in the Kapamilya Network, he would be transferring. But, the actor stated that he wanted to focus on his music label.
He said that he wanted to give the label a chance. James also added that he wanted to see how far he can go with his music and that he had big plans for it.
The actor was then asked if the rumored transfer was true. The actor happily replied with “No, it’s not”.
