Netflix To Feature Filipino Movies At The Start Of September

Filipino Movies To Be Available For Streaming On Netflix

NETFLIX – California-based entertainment services provider Netflix recently revealed that it will show Filipino movies on September 1.

In their reel, which was posted on YouTube, it featured films which stars actors and actresses like Jericho Rosales, Nadine Lustre, James Reid and more.

First up is Luck at First Sight, a 2017 romantic film directed by Dan Villegas which stars Jericho, who plays Joma, and Bella Padilla, who plays Diane in the film.

Bela Padilla also stars in the other two films aside from “Luck at First Sight which will be featured by the media streaming platform.

The second one is entitled “100 Tula Para kay Stella”, another 2017 film directed by Jason Paul Laxamana where Bela is paired with JC Santos. In the film, Padilla plays Stella while JC plays Fidel.

The last film which stars Bela is Camp Sawi, a 2016 comedy-drama film directed by Irene Villamor. The film also stars Andi Eigenmann, Yassi Pressman, Kim Molina, Sam Milby, and Arci Muñoz

The media streaming platform will also stream two romantic films from the love team JaDine (James Reid and Nadine Lustre).

These films are “This Time”, a 2016 film directed by Noel Crisostomo Naval and was loosely based on a Wattpad novel by Al Almario entitled “That One Summer”; and a film adaptation of the best-selling Wattpad novel by Denny R. named “Diary ng Panget” directed by Andoy Ranay and also stars Yassi Pressman.

Another film to be featured is “Die Beautiful” an award-winning and internationally-acclaimed film directed by Jun Robles Lana, featuring Paolo Ballesteros. Check out the reel right here.
