Couple Face Life In Prison Over Starvation Death of Toddler
COUPLE – The couple could face life in prison if they are convicted of aggravated child abuse in the starvation death of their son.
Parents don’t need a degree to raise a child. Most of them ask other moms or check the internet about the nutritious foods they should prepare for their kids.
Sadly, there are still several countries who suffered poverty and hunger. Kids in these poor countries died at a very young age due to undernutrition.
People in the United States of America have a lesser chance to have a malnourish kid. This country is considered one of the richest county. However, there are still kids who died due to parents neglect.
Based on a report from Fox News, a couple in Alabama are currently facing life imprisonment because of alleged starvation death of their three-year-old son. The investigators said the couple did not believe in doctors.
The American couple Fredrick Anthony Frink and Ashley Elizabeth Catron are facing aggravated child abuse charges over the death of their own child Hendrix Frink. The cops at Huntsville testified that their two boys were malnourished.
According to the report, prosecutor Tim Douthit said the 3-year-old boy weighs only 13 pounds when he died. His 4-year-old brother survived but also suffer from malnourishment. He only weighs 15 pounds said the investigator.
Based on the report, Ashley Elizabeth Catron told the authorities that she gave her children nutritional drinks rather than taking them to the doctors in 2018. Their house smelled of urine and their children’s room were soiled with feces and blood.
The couple previously filed bankruptcy after accumulating a huge amount of money in medical bills.
