In the previous report, the comic book giant unveiled upcoming films. They also revealed films and shows that marks the appearance of recurring superheroes like Thor, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, Loki, and more.

The upcoming new films featuring superheroes that will firstly appear are The Eternals and Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

While these upcoming films bring hype to the fans, it seems that one more superhero might possibly bid goodbye to the cinematic universe.

According to Inquirer’s Lifestyle corner, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is currently becoming the key figure in the cinematic universe in history. The films grossed at about $22 billion at the worldwide box office.

However, despite Spider-Man being the “crown jewel” of the comic book empire for decades, Sony owns the movie right of the superhero.

Spider-Man debuted in the cinematic universe in 2015 when the deal struck between two giants co-producing and splitting profits. The superhero firstly appeared in “Captain America: Civil War” and had its recent film “Spider-Man: Far From Home” in cinemas on June 28 this year.

As per the report, several Hollywood media reported that the partnership broke up, which followed up by Sony and Disney’s failure to comply on financial terms for future upcoming films.

It is also reported that this is almost sure that the teenage web-slinger might possibly be nowhere in future crossover appearances, as well as in future films.

Spider-Man is also becoming the face of the cinematic universe this brings problems more on the comic book empire than Sony.
