The two celebrities got together unexpectedly for many of showbiz fans. They worked together in Kapamilya sitcom Home Sweetie Home. Amid the show’s airing, Lloydie took an indefinite leave of absence. Following this, his romantic relationship with the former daring actress was revealed.
Later on, their real-life tandem earned a fandom. Fans were happy that the A-list actor finally found happiness outside of showbiz. This is especially when he was spotted living a simple life with his girlfriend in Cebu.
However, a rumor burst the bubble of what seemed to be a happy ending. It was alleged that Ellen already broke up with John Lloyd. Then, allegations that the former daring actress went to Cebu RTC to file a temporary protection order against her boyfriend surfaced.
Amid the issue, the couple remained silent and the alleged filing of the TPO has no confirmation yet. It was previously stated in a report from a source close to the couple revealed that their problem started even before the birthday of their son Elias Modesto. In addition, the source shared that Ellen and Lloydie are now just co-parenting.

A source of entertainment columnist Julie Bonifacio revealed that Ellen and Lloydie had fights because the former wanted to return to showbiz. However, allegedly the A-list actor is not in favor of this.
