Recently, a rejected suitor decided to slay the girl he really admired in Zamboanga City on Thursday night, July 1.
Based on a report from ABS-CBN News, the 22-year-old girl died after she was shot by her suitor in Barangay Campo Islam, Zamboanga City.
The rejected suitor shot the victim Aliya Moore four times. She died after a few hours of being admitted to the hospital.
According to the report, Police Major Ramon Bautista confirmed that the suspect was courting the woman. They consider the murder case as a “crime of passion.” They assumed that the suspect couldn’t accept that he was rejected by the lady.
Bautista said the victim was slain on her way home after her visit to her friends at Campo Islam. He said the suspect waited for her then shot her with a 45 caliber weapon.
Based on the report, the victim still managed to reveal the shooter’s name while she’s in the hospital. The authorities immediately conducted a manhunt operation to arrest the suspect.
We can’t deny that getting rejected is painful, but we don’t have to do absurd things or hurt someone else because we can’t accept it.
