The new mobile app of Willie Revillame is called “Wil To Play”
Wowowin host Willie Revillame now has his own mobile application which is called “Wil To Play”.
On July 28, Willie signed a contract with Synergy88 Philippines and August Media Holdings Singapore for the said app. Just like his primetime game show in the Kapuso network, the app also aims to give prizes to the winners.
According to Jyotirmoy Saha, the CEO of August Media Holdings, when he watched Wowowin’s taping, he immediately noticed the outpouring of emotions from the common folk who come and attend his taping. That was where they got their inspiration for the mobile app.
“When we were discussing that we need to create a game for the mass market and the game service for the mass market, it was very very clear that we need a personality associated with it who represents the games of the mass market and there was no other better person than Willie Revillame,” Mr. Saha shared.
The game show host said that he was thinking about the OFW and Filipinos who are aspiring to have a better life with this mobile app. For him, Wil To Play is the extension of his game show on TV.
Through the mobile app, players can win big prizes such as cash, gift certificates, cars, and house and lot. Willie added that everybody can join and win even after his daily show on GMA.
With this opportunity to extend help to many people, Willie Revillame expressed his gratitude, based on the report from PEP. “Alam mo, sobrang mahal ako ng Diyos. Sobrang mahal ako ng Diyos, ginagawa Niya akong tulay para makatulong, kasi hindi na naman ako nag-iisip ng kahit ano pa,” the game show host said.
