Globe Telecom To Aim For 100% Paperless Operations By 2020

GLOBE TELECOM – Globe Telecom Inc. is now aiming to switch to a 100 percent paperless business operations by the year 2020.

According to GMA News, Globe’s Chief Information Officer Maria Aurora Sy-Mandalang said at the sidelines of the Globe Innovation Forum 2019 that all data, info tech services, apps, and other digital resources will all move to a cloud-computing server.

She further added that by 2020, they will be 100% paperless, noting that at they aim to be 80% paperless at the end of the year 2019.

“We tried to target it. We’re almost there. We just have a couple of workloads we’re working on, and we should be done soon,”

As per the report, Manalang said that before the year ends, their operations will be all cloud, further saying that they have codified and placed it in a playbook.

By the time Globe Telecom’s digital assets will be uploaded inside the cloud server, their operations will be totally 100 percent paperless.
