Prominent “kontrabida” actress Gladys Reyes revealed that there was a time when she experienced “pang-iisnab” from Kapamilya actress Angelica Panganiban.
Gladys rose to fame as a “kontrabida” in the 90s Kapamilya series Mara Clara with drama superstar Judy Ann Santos.
Together, they brought tears in many households through their remarkable dramatic scenes and that lasted for several years.
Although Gladys already played several notable “kontrabida” roles, many showbiz personalities proved that she is a different person in real life.
If she is the one who is a snob in some of her series, there was also a time when someone ignored her in real life.
During a recent episode of Take It…Per Minute (Me Ganun), the digital talk show of Lolit Solis, Cristy Fermin, and Mr. Fu, Gladys Reyes, her husband Cristopher Roxas, and Kapuso actress Barbie Forteza were the guests.
Since Manay Lolit is the talent manager of Gladys, she revealed an unforgettable event in the past. She said that there was a time when her talent experienced “pang-iisnab”. The talent manager did not mention who was the “isnabera” at first.
Then, Gladys was prompted to tell the story about this. The actress said that one time she watched a movie and she liked it. So, she approached the lead actress and congratulated her. However, the lead star just ignored her.
For Gladys, it was just fine but the situation aggravated when her sibling asked the actress to have a photo with her, however, once again, they received “pang-iisnab”.
On the later part of that conversation in the talk show, Manay Lolit revealed that the lead actress who ignored Gladys Reyes was Angelica Panganiban.
