Netflix Plans To Develop A Website For People With Depression
NETFLIX – The American-based video streaming service shared on recently that they have developed a website for people with depression.
Suffering with depression could be a terrible experience. We have seen a lot of reports about people with depression harming themselves and even having suicidal thoughts. It is also experienced by millions of people around the world, even celebrities experience it.

To address the concern, many companies and concerned individuals have taken efforts to reduce the rate of suicide across the globe.
Netflix, the popular video streaming service provider have recently announced that they developed a website for people who are suffering from depression.
The company have released the announcement to the public through a Twitter post, where they wrote:
“If you or someone you know needs help finding crisis resources please visit http://13reasonswhy.info.”
They will also take the time to edit the scene from the series “13 reasons why” that sparked controversy.
Also notified and aware about the high rates of suicide across the country, the company released a statement expressing their concern brought up by young people which is to initiate conversations regarding issues like depression.
According to them they have been paying attention to the people expressing their various views about the series. They said:
“As we prepare to launch Season 3 late this summer, we’ve been mindful about the ongoing debate around the show.”
They have also considered taking advice from medical experts like the Chief Medical Officer – Dr. Christine Moutier from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

A study in the US revealed that the rate of suicide among youths in the US have rose significantly after the popular series was released.
