These Birds Fell From The Sky Bleeding From Their Eyes And Beaks
BIRDS FELL – These birds just fell to the ground from the trees and the sky bleeding from their eyes and beaks after a suspected case of massive poisoning.
With the recent changes in the environment, there were factors that affected the living conditions of birds. Some birds even found the current condition too harsh and inhabitable. While some birds flew somewhere else to seek sanctuary, other birds were rescued.
In another news, an endangered bird was rescued and recently had an egg hatched.
Meanwhile, in South Australia, about 60 birds just fell from the sky with blood flowing out of their eyes and beaks.
The case was suspected to be caused by massive poisoning.
Most of the birds were protected species – long-billed corella. The bizarre occurrence was observed last Wednesday. The birds were found in South Australia after they fell from the trees and the sky.
Some of the birds were already dead when the team of rescuers arrived at the spot.
Other birds that were found alive had blood flowing from their eyes and beaks.
They were then transferred and taken to two veterinarians. Of the 60 birds found at One Tree Hill, Adelaide, 58 of them died.
Sarah King, founder of Casper’s Bird Rescue revealed in an interview with the Guardian that the birds were “literally falling out of the trees in front of him, falling out of the sky.”
According to her, the birds wailed and pain on the ground as they weren’t able to fly. And some birds had been bleeding out of their mouth.
Disease and toxin testing will be conducted to identify the true cause of the massive death.
